A woman was dragged before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court for unlawful gaming and fined $5,000 or six months in prison.

Crystal Douglas said she sold illegal Cash Pot because she was unemployed.

"Your Honour, I was attempting to sell Cash Pot. Mi have two sons and dem father migrated, so I have to do it for economic reasons," Douglas said.

The accused, when heard that she could be fined up to $250,000, begged the court for assistance as she said she needed help to find a job.
