Rasbert Turner, Star Writer
Two security guards are in police custody in connection with the disappearance of $12 million from an armoured vehicle last Friday. THE STAR was informed that the two guards who were on duty allegedly picked up the money from a location in Portmore earlier in the day. During checks, it was revealed that the money was missing, and the men could not give an account of where it had gone. It was subsequently reported to the police, and a probe has since been launched. The men were later picked up by the police. Their names and that of the company have been withheld pending further investigations. The police in the St Catherine South Division are trying to locate the $12 million. |
