21-Strong advance to semi-finals

21-Strong maintained their perfect record as they defeated Boston 1-0 to advance to the semi-finals as the top team in Group A of the Fenley Douglas-sponsored Waterford Community Corner League last Sunday.

21-Strong topped their group with a maximum nine points. The all-important goal was scored by Michael Stone in second-half action. Boston have been eliminated from the competition.

Defending champs Oneity placed second in the group with six points as they clipped Little America 1-0 through a Ricardo Davis strike. They will have to wait to see if they will advance as a best second-place team.

The competition continues on Sunday.
