Ken's Wildflower domino team on top

Ken's Wildflower domino team profited somewhat from games that ended prematurely as they are now sole leaders of the Colin Fagan-sponsored South East St Catherine Constituency Domino League with a maximum 12 points after the playing of third-round matches last Sunday.

Ken's defeated Portsmouth United 250-225. In the other two completed games, defending champs Passagefort United beat Westchester United 250-205 to cop their first win in three tries, and Waterford United snatched their second win of the season as they triumphed 250-231 over Cumberland.

Two games ended prematurely. Garveymeade were on the verge of their third win of the season when their game ended abruptly, with Garveymeade leading winless Rising Sun (234-211), while the Westchester Rudiz/Portmore Lane Tigers clash was blown off early with the score at 196-185 in favour of the Rudiz.

The disciplinary committee will have to rule on these games.

The competition continues tomorrow with four of the scheduled five matches set to be played.
