![]() Jamaican track superstar Usain Bolt entertains fans at a party after his arrival in Moscow in Gorky Park ahead of the IAAF World Championships last month. - File The world's fastest man Usain Bolt revealed that he would have been driven mad if he took the advice of his coach Glen Mills to avoid sex and partying at certain points.> The 27-year-old, in his new autobiography: Faster than Lightning: My autobiography - noted how important it was for him to let off a little steam, even while his coach warned that he was bound to "get himself in trouble". According to Bolt, Mills once said to him : "I don't worry about you when you're unfit. It's when you're strong that I stress because your testosterone goes high - through the roof. You have the potential to get yourself into trouble." "One time he (Mills) even told me to avoid sex," said Bolt in the book that has been serialised by The Times. "If I had followed Coach's advice though, I would have driven myself insane. I knew that every now and then I had to live fast. It was the only way for me to stay focused," he continued. The spotlight "Going out occasionally, dancing and chilling with friends was a release valve from the pressures of living in the spotlight," Bolt added. "It helped me to work properly on the track and nobody, nobody was going to tell me otherwise." Bolt, was, however, always aware of the importance of him not behaving a certain way in the public. "I had to think about the consequences of my actions at all time, because they might affect how a sponsor viewed me in the future, but I couldn't do without a party every now and then," Bolt said. "I knew that Coach would be pissed off at hearing the news ... but I'd reached an understanding of what was needed if I was to function effectively as an athlete," he shared. Bolt - one of the most iconic sporting personalities in history, is a six-time Olympic gold medallist and is the holder of the 100m (9.58) and 200m (19.19) world records.
