Double murder in Portmore |

Diandra Grandison, Staff Reporter The Portmore, St. Catherine, community of Westchester is currently mourning the death of two brothers who were brutally gunned down while at home on Thursday evening. Reports by the Waterford police are that at around 10:40pm, the young men who were identified as 26-year-old Kemar Johnson and 19-year-old Dexter Johnson, were at home with a friend when they were accosted by gunmen. According to the police, the men were robbed of items such as laptops, cellular phones and a flat screen T.V., and were then shot by the armed men. The police were summoned and the three injured men were taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where the brothers died while undergoing treatment but their friend currently in stable condition. A motive for the shooting is currently unknown, but the Waterford Police are still investigating. |
