YG Sound ready for the Star Life |

|
Portmore's youngest and fastest-rising sound, YG, also known as the Yung Gunnerz, named for the members' fondness of the Arsenal English Premier League side, are set to take the Famous nightclub by storm tonight. YG will be headlining the popular 'Star Life Saturdays' event in Jamaica's biggest and most expansive nightclub. WestYG, a member of the young but extremely talented group, told THE PORTMORE STAR that the sound system is on a path to greatness. Progression "Heading to Club Famous for the second time in two months really shows the progression of YG sound. We started out in 2011, and since then, we are steadily becoming a household name and a force to be reckoned with," he said. YG also recently performed at Club V, the other new club in Portmore. September is set to be a busy month for YG, which consists of other members VeeYG, Sandman, One Pop, Chemis, and Fletcha. They are set for Team Bam International's first anniversary in Passage Fort on September 21 and Stay Schemin on September 28 at Club V alongside ZJ Johnny Kool and DJ Flabba Dabba. |
