MoBay Utd, Sporting win in Flow Cup |

National Premier League campaigners Montego Bay United thrashed Rockfort 5-0 to secure a place in the second round of the Flow Champions Cup Knockout competition yesterday. Jermaine Woozencroft (17th), Renaldo Rodney (20th), Allan Ottey (49th), Graeme Green (50th) and Lesley St Fleur were the scorers for the Donovan Duckie-coached Montego Bay United. In the day's other games, Sporting Central recorded a hard fought 2-1 come-from-behind win over Jamalco. Jamaly Powell (75th) and Huggart Nugent (82nd) were the scorers for Sporting Central. Kenroy Thomas scored for Jamalco in the 32nd minute. Rivoli United, who will be making a return to the Premier League this season, beat Sandals White-house 2-1. Valentine Gardener (32nd) and Michael Blydgen scored for Rivoli. Black Star thrashed Logwood 7-0 and New Green edged Reggae Youths 1-0. - R.B. |
