Director Cornelius Grant has revealed that his latest music video, 'Anuh Every Gyal', done by emerging dancehall artiste Rollie Fresh, has been his most successful to date.

The video, shot in Spanish Town, St Catherine, and New Kingston, St Andrew, premiered three weeks ago on the popular local entertainment station, HYPE TV, and YouTube.

Since its premiere, it has racked up more than 30,000 views on the world famous social website and sits at number six on HYPE TV's VTX Music Countdown charts.

Grant has directed and co-directed music videos such as Jahn Nado's Give Thanks For Life, Neutron Obliv's Every ArtistesGyal A Mine, Leftside's Cry Fi Yuh and Bounty Killer and Patexx' Me Alright.

However, it is Rollie Fresh's Anuh Every Gyal which has garnered much more attention and success for Grant, who is also an actor, short-film director and recording artiste himself.

excited

"The video for Rollie Fresh has skyrocketed, literally. Not only on YouTube, but my Facebook page has been flooded with messages from friends who have seen the video. On the streets, people are equally excited and, just from that video, other artistes have linked me, wanting me to shoot theirs," he said.

Rollie Fresh, based in Spanish Town, said he is not entirely surprised by the reaction from the general public, as the video possesses all the right ingredients to become a success.

"The video shoot was fun because what Cornelius did was to fuse his and my ideas into one, thus making it an image where people have become excited about," he said.
