Molested by my brother |

![]() Dear Pastor, I am living proof of sexual abuse. My brother molested me many times 23 years ago. I have never told anybody about it. If I had told my father, he would have killed my brother. My mother left my brother and two of us girls with our father. It was sad but I am glad that what my brother did to me he did not do to my younger sister, because she might have killed herself. We could not talk to our mother about it. It has haunted me over and over. Most times I am a sad woman behind my smile. My brother is in prison now, but for a different reason. I could write a book on what he has done to me. If these men or women are human, they should pay dearly for what they do to our children. Molested Dear Molested, I understand why you did not report your brother to your dad. Fear caused you to remain silent. But because you kept silent, he repeatedly abused you. And to this very day, you are not dealing well with the abuse. You should make an appointment to see a psychologist. Please, I am begging you to do so as early as possible. Concerning your brother who is in prison, I hope that now that you can defend yourself that whenever you have the opportunity to speak to him that you would confront him about what he did to you. It will help to bring healing to your soul. I am not saying that you should hate him, because to hate him will not do you any good. But you ought to confront him in love, if that is possible. I am sorry you did not mention why he is serving time in prison. My prayers are with you. Please write me again. Pastor |
