Nineteen-year-old up-and-coming dancehall artiste/producer Tiyarro is denying allegations that he used real guns in his recent music video for his collaboration called How We Do It which features a London rapper. At least three websites have posted screen shots from the music video which shows masked boys posing with what appears to be guns, however, the artiste says the alleged weapons were fake.

"Sometime some man put up things pon website and not even duh dem research properly. The song is a hardcore song suh mi decide fi duh a matching music video but the guns dem never real. And from it's not real I don't consider it to be a gun. So I would say there is no gun in my music video," the young artiste said.

According to the deejay, since the music video was uploaded five days ago, he has noticed a trend of rumours which started at one particular website. The artiste claims he does not want his reputation to be tainted and is therefore advising bloggers to desist from spreading negative allegations.

Honest bread

"All way a way a Spain mi see website with it because people all over the world take things from Jamaican websites. Suh mi want people just ease offa dem vibes deh. I am just a youth who loves music and is trying to make my honest bread, dem vibes here just turn mi off star," the deejay said.

The STAR took the opportunity to view the music video and there were sections which showed masked individuals holding what appeared to be weapons. However, it could not be confirmed if they were in fact real. There were also images of a green substance which resembled marijuana.

The artiste denies being involved in any illegal activity and says his music video was all for entertainment purposes.

"I don't see anybody from movies being targeted for posing with fake guns. So why is music seen differently? Everything artiste do or sey in the music people take it literal. If a man sey bun gay in a song a big demonstration and if a man burn a gay in a movie you hear no demonstration. It's not fair, give the music a chance man, it's all entertainment," Tiyarro said.

The music video is currently on YouTube.com. American rapper Trinidad James also brandished what appeared to be a gun in his 2013 hit single called All Gold Everything. Tiyarro is currently promoting his debut mixtape called Mine For The Taking.
