An Ananda Alert has been activated for 17-year-old Jhamelia Samuely, of Gordon Town Road, St Andrew, who has been missing since Sunday, August 25.

She is of brown complexion, stout build, and about 168 centimetres (5 feet 6 inches) tall.

Reports from the Papine police are that Jhamelia was last seen about 10 p.m. in her community. At the time, she was dressed in a multicoloured shirt and blue denim shorts. All efforts to contact her have proven futile.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Jhamelia Samuely is being asked to contact the Papine police at 927-2047, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
