Teen's body fished from Matalon Pier |

André Williams, STAR Writer Police personnel attached to the St Catherine South division on Wednesday morning fished a body, believed to be that of a teenage boy, from the water after it was seen floating near the Old Matalon Pier in Portmore. Up to press time, the body had not been identified, and, as such, the Waterford police are seeking the help of the public. According to the police, the body believed to be about 16 years old, slim build, about 5' long and is of dark complexion. THE WEEKEND STAR gathered that the body was clad in a red t-shirt and a pair of black short jeans pants. The Waterford police told the news team that the police received reports that a body was seen floating in the sea, at the Old Matalon Pier, across from the Portmore leg of Highway 2000, Kingston. The police are asking anyone who can assist in identifying the body to contact the Waterford police at 988-1763, or call 119. |
