New management for Khalilah Rose

Reggae recording artiste Khalilah Rose will now be managed by Tanya Thelwell CEO of Mad Coolie Records.

The announcement came weeks before Rose's long-awaited return to her homeland Jamaica from the US.

In a release to media, Khalilah Rose announced that she has been anticipating this step by inking her management deal with Mad Coolie Records, as she moves forward with her music.

Fresh from her stint at the Fort Clarence Beach in Portmore on Sunday, Khalilah is now gearing up to record a host of new material, which her fans will be sure to enjoy. In addition, in keeping with the back-to-school season, the talented reggae songstress launched her charitable foundation called Kreate Jamaica, which is an academic and arts initiative.

"Students who are raised in single parent and low-income families can now get a chance to be awarded with a scholarship and back-to-school supplies through my charity KREATE Jamaica. The goal is to raise US$1,000 which will be awarded at the end of this month to the student who qualifies," said Khalilah Rose.

However, Khalilah Rose who is a trained educator and a person who values education, gets ready to perform for her fans in Aruba and New York in the coming weeks.

When asked what she would like to say to her fans, Rose said, "Live, love and give all praises to Jah. Rasta is more than what the eye beholds. Rasta runs deeper than the skin and the garments that dress an individual. Deeper than the locks. In this trod, I have come to learn that if you judge 'being Rasta' based on appearance, you are sure to be disappointed."
