Though the song has been doing fairly well on the local scene, Wine and Kotch by Charly Black and J Capri has taken the international market by storm.

Wine and Kotch topped the iTunes reggae chart in France and has also found its way to number three on The Netherlands iTunes chart. Recently, the song was featured in the Saints Row 4 video game, which was released last week.

Speaking with THE WEEKEND STAR, producer Rvssian stated that this was a huge accomplishment for the artistes.

Ten songs

"The song is extremely huge outside of Jamaica, so a representative of the video game contacted us saying that they wanted to feature the song on the game. There are only about 10 other reggae songs featured on the game and they are all from the last two decades. So it's definitely a good look for us," he said.

J Capri also told THE WEEKEND STAR that this was a big accomplishment for dancehall music.

"It feels great to have my song featured on a video game, especially because it is one of my first singles out. It's a good look for dancehall music and for myself. I hope there will be more features like this in the future," J Capri said.

The Head Concussion recording artiste will be releasing a slew of hits in the upcoming weeks and is also gearing up for performances in Curaçao, France and the Caribbean.
