It's already been a busy summer for Assassin; from delivering what many call his best live performance at Reggae Sumfest to being featured on rap heavyweight Kanye West's Yeezus album. The dancehall act, however, says summer isn't over just yet as his recently released mixtape gets more and more popular. Released last week, Assassin's mixtape is a 29-track music experience produced by Boardhouse Records and mixed by DJ Dr Dre. Named the 'Bombshell' mixtape, the mixtape even features live performance tracks from Assassin's lauded performance on Dancehall Night last month on Reggae Sumfest. "People have been asking for new music and this is the best way I think my fans can get a real taste of what I'm doing in the studio nowadays, because the writing and recording almost never stop," Assassin stated from the recording studio in New York. Special touch 'Bombshell' mixtape's first 18 tracks are singles the artiste recently recorded, including tracks like Shell, Tell Unuh, God Year, Rebellious Nature, and more. "I think everyone is going to like how we put together this mixtape and the special touch we added by including the live performances courtesy of Reggae Sumfest," he said. Assassin left tens of thousands of patrons in lyrical ecstasy on Dancehall Night at Reggae Sumfest. It was evident that a more mature and seasoned artiste was on stage as he took patrons on an electrifying ride through an impressive sample of his hit singles, barely enough to dent a catalogue that now includes I'm In It. 'Bombshell' mixtape is available for download in three versions - tracked, untracked, and mobile and is available free of cost via Agent Sasco's Facebook page.
