Lime's Skool Aid delivers entertaining packages

The annual LIME Skool Aid was nothing short of entertainment, excitement, and clean fun!

The two-day event, held at Jamworld in Portmore, St Catherine, had children and parents out in their numbers enjoying free haircuts, medical check-ups, free LIME school bags, scholarships, and rides.

"No year nuh miss mi," said one parent. "Times hard, so any little help I can get, we always grateful. At least that burden is lifted, so mi really thankful."

A teen said: "I am always happy. It is so near to me and convenient. It's always good when persons can look out for the less fortunate."

The best was still to come as patrons enjoyed entertaining packages from acts including Ity and Fancy Cat, Wayne J, Jah Bouks Delus, Ninja Man, Specialist, Teflon, Omari, Kip Rich, Queen Ifrica, Demarco, and Chuck Fender.

Wayne J, who is just 10, had the crowd erupting with 18 Or Older. He said it was always a pleasure to spread positive messages. "I am always elated for any opportunity to spread a good message. I appreciate the response from the crowd. I was well received and I am just happy for the support," he said.

LIME's Chairman, Chris Dehring, noted that the corporate entity had never turned its back on the less fortunate. "This was a small seed and it has grown tremendously, but the most important thing for us is that lives are touched," he said.
