San Antonio Spurs All-Star Tim Duncan and his wife have divorced in a final legal proceeding that took place in his attorney's office.

The San Antonio Express-News (https://bitly.com/shorten/) reports the hearing to finalise Duncan's divorce from his wife, Amy, happened Tuesday.

Judge David Canales says he held the hearing during his lunch hour at the offices of Duncan's lawyer, Sue Hall, at her request. The couple and their attorneys were present. Canales cited privacy issues as the reason the hearing was not held in a courthouse.

The Duncans married in 2001. Court documents show Amy Duncan filed for divorce in March. Details of the divorce weren't immediately released.

An aide to Hall said the attorney can't comment on specific cases. Attorneys for Amy Duncan didn't immediately comment.
