She won't cook for her husband |

Dear Pastor, Many women punish men by not washing their clothes. Some of them are even abusive to their children. It is even worse if they believe their men are cheating. I know a Christian woman who goes to church every Sunday and doesn't take the time to cook a meal for her husband. All she does is collect his money. R., Westmoreland Dear R., The woman who claims to be a Christian and goes to church every Sunday, but fails to take care of her husband, needs to understand that, as the lady of the household, she has a moral obligation to take the lead role in domestic affairs. That is what the Bible says. The wise woman, whose testimony is given in Proverbs Chapter 31, took care of her husband and children. It was said of her that she proudly dressed him well and his colleagues admired him, and this man and her children called him blessed. And in addition to this woman taking care of her home, she was a businesswoman in her own right. The Bible said she bought a piece of land and farmed it. She didn't totally rely on her husband to provide everything for her. So, this woman who won't even wash her husband's clothes, or cook his Sunday dinner, is not a good wife. She might go to church and shout hallelujah, all day, but if she is not doing what the Bible says, she needs to get on her knees and pray. regardless what wrong a man has done, no wife should refuse cook his meals and to perform her wifely duties.
