The Caymanian police have recaptured a Jamaican man who escaped from a prison on that island last week.

Twenty-two-year-old Chadwick Dale was one of three men who escaped from the Northward prison on August 14.

The police said he was nabbed shortly after 2 p.m. yesterday, following a tip-off from a member of the public.

At the time of his escape, Dale was facing a six-year prison sentence on charges of wounding and robbery.
