Plenty in place for Overdose third anniversary party

For his event's third anniversary party, promoter Conroy Samuels has promised expected patrons an array of entertainment to whet their appetite come Sunday.

Old Harbour's most popular monthly event, Overdose, now being powered by Rum-Bar Rum, will be celebrating three years of existence. The promoter, affectionately called Conroy Overdose by his peers, wants to make the occasion very big.

The all-white, 4-12 drink-inclusive pool party will take place at its usual Sterling Villa venue, across the road from Old Harbour High. The event is organised by Samuels' promotional company, Overdose Entertainment.

With a powerful musical line-up, which includes Boom Boom, Gary Chucks, DJ Madness, Chud Roc and Fire Wayne, the event is expected to produce a non-stop flow of quality entertainment.

Samuels also said there will be a giveaway every hour with several guest artistes passing through.

Patrons are asked to pay $1,000 on entry to partake in the 'Shinning Star' edition. Ladies will enjoy a 2-4-1 special, which ends at 10 p.m. sharp.

"The line-up alone tells people what sort of vibes they must come expecting. However, I have to stress that it is an early event, so patrons are asked to show up early," said Samuels.

He added that everything is in place and he, along with other team members, are just waiting to execute. He also uttered a word of appreciation for the support received over the years.

"We are just waiting on the big day because everything is in place right now. I have to thank all those people who have come and supported the event over the years. I am very grateful for that," he said.
