![]() Telecoms firm LIME is encouraging patrons wishing to attend this year's staging of LIME Skool Aid, its annual back-to-school fair, scheduled for this weekend, to ensure they get their tickets early. According to Carlo Redwood, VP Marketing, the safety and security of patrons attending the two-day event is of ultimate priority, and so only 30,000 persons will be allowed to enter the venue on each day. "Each year we see the numbers grow, and so we are encouraging persons to secure their tickets before coming to Jam World," says Redwood. To match the overwhelming popularity of the event experienced over the past two years, the company made the decision to return the event to its inaugural two-day format. Redwood also revealed that LIME's investment in the charitable aspects of the event, which include free school bags, medical and dental check, immunisations and more would be doubled this year. LIME is expected to offer more than $20 million in back-to-school assistance for students attending the event in addition to giveaway of scholarships and tablet computers. This, the fourth staging of Skool Aid, LIME will also offer the customary family entertainment as well as phone and Internet specials for patrons. Tickets for the event are distributed with the purchase of $200 LIME mobile credit at LIME stores in Kingston, Spanish Town, and St Catherine. |
