Noted entertainment consultant Sean 'Contractor' Edwards has continued to make strides during his ongoing Europe and UK tour, after an impressive performance at the One Love Reggae Festival on Sunday in Up Minister.

The three-day concert is held annually in the UK at a camp site, where thousands of patrons camp overnight to enjoy the rich and ever-refreshing live reggae bands, sound systems and Jamaican food.

Contractor, who also does music marketing for Kingston-based music company Downsound Records (DSR), performed on three separate occasions under sound-system tents filled to capacity with reggae lovers from UK, Japan, Europe and the Caribbean.

He first performed for an hour on the Conscious sound system, based in the UK, where he received a rousing welcome. This performance was in the traditional one-drop dancehall style, much to the audiences' delight.

Contractor also used the occasion to introduce music from his DSR camp, where he acts as the label's marketing director. The crowd roared to the music from the label's flagship artistes Ninja Man, Ishawna, Nature, Don Husky, Toya, Specialist and Nazir.

The multi-talented individual said the tour can't go any better and that people are fast latching on to the music from the DSR camp.

"The tour is fantastic, so far. I have done some lovely interviews. promoting Downsound and the events have all gone to perfection, literally," he said.
