Male exotic dancers in demand |

![]() Male exotic dancing is apparently quickly becoming a popular form of entertainment on the line-up of events by promoters. While male exotic dancing is not anything new in Jamaica, gone are the days when only a few shows were being held. These days, male exotic dancing is happening quite regularly. At the recently concluded Shades Pon De Beach event, which attracted thousands of patrons, one of the exotic dancing groups, Bad Boyzz Entertainment, performed on a taboo-laced, 10-minute show that had females in a frenzy. Bad Boyzz Entertainment is one of at least two popular male exotic dancing groups. The other one, Divine Men Of Choice (DMOC), has been around much longer. In an interview with THE WEEKEND STAR, a member of Bad Boyzz dancer, Mr Seductive, revealed that the demands for male exotic dancers are on the rise. "Females want to see us. We're giving them that sexual, sensual feeling that they want," the dancer said while explaining their popularity. Another dancer, Romeo, shared similar comments. "The demand is kinda high now because we are fairly new and females want to know who is Bad Boyzz," he said. Bad Boyzz Entertainment consists of about 15 dancers and they have visited areas such as Ocho Rios, Negril and Montego Bay, clubs such as Lucky 38, Flirt Nightclub and Taboo, and hotels such as Hedonism and Sandals for shows. Despite being exotic dancers, however, the men say for them exotic has its limit. "We don't dance for guys. Straight up," Mr Seductive explicitly stated. "If it's like at Lucky 38 where you have both males and females in the crowd, then we'd just take off our shirt, nothing out of the ordinary. If it's a private party or a bachelorette party then whatever the ladies want we'll do," he said. The price for bookings vary according to the number of dancers and the duration, among other factors. For one to become a dancer, there are of course prerequisites. "You have to be physically fit, able to dance, and at least have some form of sex appeal. Before you start to dance, you have to have their attention," said Romeo.
