Suspect linked to second murder wanted by cops

Investigators at the Major Investigation Task force (MIT) have intensified their search for a suspect who is wanted for last month's killing of a man inside a church. This as they believe he struck again on Wednesday.

The suspect, Marv 'Indian' McLaughlin, is being sought since the fatal shooting inside the Church of God of Prophecy in Seven Miles, Bull Bay, St Andrew.

The MIT believes the suspect is linked to Wednesday's killing of Davion Beckford in Toby Gully, the same general area.

The police are appealing to anyone who can provide information on McLaughlin's whereabouts to contact them.

The man killed in the church shooting was identified as 28-year-old Chad Telfair. He was chased and shot at the altar.

The act was reportedly committed in front of a large group of infants who were at the place of worship for Vocational Bible School.

A five-year-old girl was hospitalised after she was shot twice during the incident.
