A Jamaican man was sentenced to one year 's imprisonment on Monday in Massachusetts for sending sexually explicit text messages to his stepdaughter and offering to pay her for sex.

THE WEEKEND STAR understands that the accused, 44-year-old Gary Lee, in a plea agreement with prosecutors, pleaded guilty to charges of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14, as well as electronic enticement of a child for prostitution.

According to www.ack.net, the sentence was handed down in the Nantucket District Court.

Lee, formerly of Essex Road, has been in jail since he was arrested in December 2012 and will be given credit for time served.

THE WEEKEND STAR gathered that attorneys representing Lee have reportedly disclosed that the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency will move to deport him to Jamaica upon his release.
