A home-made firearm and two rounds of ammunition were seized in bushes in the vicinity of a pump house in Burnt Savannah, Lacovia, St Elizabeth, on Wednesday. No one was arrested in connection with the find.

Reports from the Lacovia police are that, at about 5:30 p.m., they conducted an operation in the area and one home-made firearm and two 12-gauge cartridges were found.

Investigations continue.
