The final day of the island's largest three-day agricultural show, Denbigh, came to an exciting close with a special concert hosted by Digicel, one of its main sponsors, on Tuesday.

The show, which kicked off at 7 p.m., treated patrons to a star-studded line-up featuring popular Rising Stars winners as well as brand ambassador, I-Octane.

The event was hosted by the hilarious Reggae Rogers and Digicel Brand Ambassador, Miss Kitty.

Reggae Rogers had the audience in stitches with his antics before handing over to the Fluffy Diva, who, in recognition of Independence Day, applauded the hard-working farmers and encouraged patrons to be self-reliant and "get up go look it!"

High-energy performances from Rising Stars including dancer Kemar Brown, keyboard-player Zethroy Thomas, Unique 3, Kadian Thompson, Kenny Smith, Chevanese Thomas, Sasanya Dawson, Tish Brown, ShanaKay Sealy, Verlando Small and Ramian Williams kept the vibes flowing right through the night.

Past winners such as Tash, Latty J, Jody-Ann Pantry, Dalton Harris, One Third and Cameal Davis also delivered memorable performances.

Fans screamed with delight when Miss Kitty invited fellow diva Cherine Anderson onstage.

She sang snippets from her hits I'm A Rebel and Haffi Come Back. The vibes went through the roof when both gave the audience a taste of their sultry dance moves.

Amid the excitement, fans clamoured for Reggae Star I-Octane who was scheduled to close the show.

They were anything but disappointed when I-Octane touched the stage. The artiste asked for the lights to be turned down low and all that could be seen across the packed venue were phone lights being waved in the air.

To the delight of the audience, one female fan was invited onstage to dance with the singjay, who serenaded her with hits like Missing You and L.O.V.E. Y.O.U., until he spotted a hickey on her neck. The audience then chimed in with his his latest hit song,Gal A Gimme Bun.

With spectacular performances by the energetic Digicel dancers and non-stop giveaways of smartphones, credit and back-to-school items, Digicel created an inimitable entertainment package for the Denbigh patrons, who filled every inch of the showground.

Tahnida Nunes, senior sponsorship manager at Digicel, was delighted to see the turnout at the concert.

"This is the biggest concert I've seen in all the years that we've been coming to Denbigh, and it's really good to see this kind of support from our customers.
