Fras Twins' Starizma hot for summer

Jamaican producers Terefe and Tekle Mason aka Fras Twins, are quickly making a name for themselves on the dancehall scene with yet another hot new rhythm called the Starizma, for summer 2013, following the success of their Happy Daze rhythm last summer.

'Starizma' is one of the most anticipated rhythms for this summer and features dancehall superstars like Demarco, Voicemail, and TOK and some of the most promising up and coming acts. Although just officially released, it has already built up a momentum overseas namely: Kenya,United Kingdom and Miami since it previewed a week ago online, leading to the rhythm mix racking up close to 100,000 views on YouTube in just a week.

The brothers say they are pleased with the attention their project is getting and cite this current success as just the beginning of greater things to come. "The project has been getting some very positive feedback from djs and respected members in the dancehall community both here in Jamaica and abroad. We are very proud of what we have produced and we hope our quality of work speaks for itself," they explained in a release.

"A lot of the instruments on the riddim were played live and we think that is a major contributing factor in terms of how unique the riddim sounds. It was a pleasure working with every single artiste on the riddim. They are very talented, some of them are upcoming artistes so you guys should look out for them. We are happy to be able to give them an opportunity to put themselves out there."

The Starizma rhythm compilation is being distributed by Hapilos and is now available on iTunes, Amazon etc. Follow Fras Twins on Twitter and Instagram @frastwinz and @iamfrastwinz, respectively.
