|||||
This child shows off his dance skills and adds to the excitement at the LIME Talk EZ roadshow. - Contributed Telecoms giant LIME Jamaica ended its summer roadshow series in fine style with Portlanders last Saturday. Hundreds of LIME customers and well-wishers flocked the lawns of the Errol Flynn Marina to take in the spectacular performances the company had in store. The roadshow series on June 29 was in celebration of LIME's new all-time low one rate of $2.99 that was introduced in June for all prepaid LIME-to-LIME, cross network and calls to the USA, Canada and UK landlines. Portland seemed more than ready to embrace the festivities as persons strolled in to hold their spots for viewing the various entertaining acts lined up for the night's activities. A number of patrons also lined up at the LIME sales booth to purchase handsets and calling credit, from the $2.99 one rate mobile Value Champions. LIME treated the crowd to loads of laughter, courtesy of the evening's emcees 'Crack-up Specialists' Pretty Boy Floyd and Donald 'Ice Man' Anderson, who opened the show bringing a burst of excitement. Both men engaged persons from the audience in onstage challenges for LIME handsets and goodie bags. Comedic duo Ity and Fancy Cat also charmed the patrons with their hilarious jokes opening with their signature dance to Beyonce's Crazy In Love which had the crowd in 'stitches'. A tremendous number of Sizzla fans came out to see the special guest artiste take control of the Talk EZ stage. The reggae/dancehall fusion artiste had the crowd in a frenzy as he opened with his popular hit Mash Dem Dung. Sizzla had the crowd locked singing along to his hits like Simplicity, Praise Ye Jah, Dry Cry and Give Me a Try. Reggae/Dancehall artiste Teflon, who has been touring with the LIME Talk EZ roadshow, also helped to spread positive vibrations through his music with the 'Portie' crowd. "This tour has been a massive success and we're extremely pleased. The people have certainly come out and enjoyed the entertainment from our LIME brand ambassadors as well as our guest artistes. Our Talk EZ Roadshow series has now come to an end but we are sure our patrons valued every moment," said Carlo Redwood, vice-president of Marketing, LIME Jamaica. |
