Di problem is dat him wife file fi him get him Green Card, and di process requires him fi first get a two year 'provisional status' card, after which he is to go in to US immigration authorities with his sponsor (his wife) for an interview to remove the 'provisional' status. However, during the provisional status the sponsor (his wife) can withdraw sponsorship, which would mean he wouldn't get him Green card and would haffi leave the US.

Him say because a dis him haffi put up wid weh she a do, cause him nuh waan she withdraw har sponsorship, an him nuh waan leave di US cause him waan stay an work fi help him relatives inna Jamaica.

Him all say more while him feel like fi 'do har supm' (violence) but him jus hol it an a wait fi di two 'provisional' years pass wen him wi able fi cut an lef har.
