MY FAMILY BELIEVE THAT EVIL SPIRIT HAVING SEX WITH ME

Dear Pastor,

I listen to your programme all the time. I have wanted to contact you for a long time. I am in a relationship with a guy that I love very much.

He encourages me a lot, and I try to do the same for him. His family members love me and I love them as well. However, my family members don't like him. They say that his family has joined a cult and that every time we talk, the evil spirit is with me and having sex with me. They have been doing everything within their power to break us up, but it isn't working because we really love each other.

We feel things for each other. When he is sick, I feel it, and when I am sick, he feels it as well. It feels like we are meant for each other. He is a Christian and so am I. I am not able to talk to him as I would like because my parents do not permit me to do so. I miss him a lot.

Pastor, what should I do? He means a lot to me and I really want us to be joined in marriage when the Lord says it is time. I am 18 and he is 19.

Please help me.

S.C

Dear S.C.,

You know how members of your family feel about this man. You believe that they are wrong. You also believe that your boyfriend is an upright gentleman and that there is something special in the relationship that both of you are having. However, I would suggest that you not totally ignore what your parents and other family members say.

Your relatives claim that the members of your boyfriend's family are working with evil spirits and that the evil spirit is also having sex with you. What in the world are they talking about? How can they determine that an evil spirit is having sex with you? I think that is nonsense!

On the other hand, I do not know whether the family members of this young man are members of a cult. But even if they are, the sex seems far-fetched.

The young fellow and you need not worry. Let him understand that you have to obey your parents because you are under their roof and it would be unwise for you to do anything that would cause them to feel that you are rebelling.

Both of you claim to be Christians, so pray about your relationship. And if it is God's will for both of you to have a future together, God will work in your favour.

Pastor
