Detectives from the St Catherine North Police Division have listed 18-year-old Lavar Najaite Reid, otherwise called 'Var', of Commodore district in Linstead as wanted.

Reid is of dark complexion, slim build about 185 centimetres (6 feet 1 inch) tall. He also has a scar above his right knee.

He is wanted for robbery with aggravation and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

He is said to frequent areas of Linstead and Bog Walk in St Catherine, and is known to be affiliated with a major gang operating in the parish.

Reid is being asked to turn himself over to the Linstead police or the Spanish Town police by 5 p.m. today.
