Police probing four-vehicle collision |

|
Police personnel assigned to the Accident Investigation and Reconstruction Unit (AIRU) in Westmoreland are examining evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding a four-vehicle crash on Ferris main road in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland, yesterday. The crash claimed the lives of André James and Tricia Green, both of Waterworks in the parish. The two were reportedly travelling in a Toyota Corolla motor car when the incident occurred. A BMW motor truck, another Toyota Corolla motor car and a Freightliner truck were the other vehicles involved. Reports from the Savanna-la-mar police are that about 5 a.m., James and Green were killed on the spot when their car collided head on with the Freightliner, which was travelling in the opposite direction. The occupants of the other vehicles were taken to hospital for treatment. Investigations continue. |
