The opening day of Rum-Bar Flex Week ended with a bang this Wednesday with the Road Flex stage show, which featured stellar performances from I-Octane, Lady Saw, Richie Spice, Louie Culture, Jah Books, Spice, Chi Ching Ching, Munga, and T-Nez.

The night kicked off with juggling by ZJ Karyzma. This was immediately followed by an unusually early performance by I-Octane, who entered the stage to his hit Badmind Dem A Pree. He then quickly advanced into his set with songs such as Suffer Too Long, Buss A Blank, and Puff It. He then called a female patron to the stage and instructed her to put her hands on his chest, then he proceeded to sing Once More and L.O.V.E. Y.O.Uacapella.

Jah Bouks pleased the crowd with Fi DI Yutes Dem and Call Angola, which had the crowd rocking and singing along.

Louie Culture's hits, Ganga Lee, Eyes Of An Angel, and Born To Be Free seemed out of place among the youthful patrons. However, he got a great response from the crowd when he called for the legalisation of marijuana with Legalise di Herb.

Chromatic then got the people raving with songs such as QQ's Skip To My Lou and Popcaan's Unruly Rave. Sky Juice brought back the old hits with Bob Marley's Natural Mystic and Buju Banton's Til I'm Laid To Rest. Later on, he removed his shirt and did a split to Mavado's Clean Every Day, which left the crowd in stitches.

Richie Spice had the crowd rocking to The World Is a Cycle, Earth A Run Red and appealed to the ladies with songs such as Ghetto Girl and Brown Skin.

ZJ Ice continued the roots vibe by kicking off his set with Tarrus Riley's Nah Give Up and Never Leave I before getting into the party vibe.

Spice took the stage amid screams to deliver a wide catalogue of songs. She was followed by Chi Chin Ching, who called up T-Nez and Munga, who took turns to deliver hit after hit.

The show closed with a performance from Lady Saw who did Wah Do Some Gal and Wife A Wife. Saw then took patrons to sex education class with her song Heels On as she schooled them on how to make love, using a male patron for demonstration.

"The show did mad, mad mad, mad! And Lady Saw, OMG, she a di boss!" said Jessica Allen, an extremely pleased patron.
