The three persons who died in the motor vehicle crash on the Braco main road in Trelawny on Thursday have been identified.

They are 12-year-old Jevion Stennett, Evan Robertson Hamilton, 31, and Rachel Woodard, 33, who was visiting from the United States.

Jevion and Hamilton were passengers in a Toyota Tundra pickup, while Woodard was a passenger in a Toyota Coaster minibus.

Three other persons, including a five-year-old boy, remain hospitalised.

According to reports, the crash occurred shortly before 5:00 p.m. during heavy rains.

It is reported that the crash occurred when one of the vehicles developed a skid and the driver lost control.
