Container Female Promoters Selecting Competition quarter-final set for today

This Saturday, Gee Wee Car Park, located at 1a Caledonia Avenue in Cross Roads, is going to be set ablaze again with excitement with the quarter-final of the Container Female Promoters Selecting Competition. From the beginning of the competition, there has been constant entertainment for the patrons who turn out to see their favourite contestants battle fellow selectors.

The Container Boss who is the promoter of Container Satdazs said from the very first round of matches, Gee Wee Car Park has been full to capacity with the contestants delivering each time and constantly meeting and exceeding patrons' expectations with their intros, selection of music, dub plates from various artistes and crowd engagement. He said that based on the pre-interview he did with the contestants last week, he knew that these clashes were going to be very interesting and entertaining. He said patrons must come prepared to be fully entertained and that Container Satdazs is definitely one of the hottest events to be this Saturday without doubt.

The competition, which started out with 16 female contestants from Portmore and Kingston, have now reached a peak level with eight remaining contestants fully aware of each other and what to expect of their competitors.

The eight contestants that are in for a chance to win the grand prize of $100,000, inclusive of cash and prizes, on the final slated to be at Container Satdazs anniversary on Saturday, August 31, are Bashy Yanique, Nadesha Star, Kimone Chickenback, Shawna Necessary, Ming Khaotik, Lady Diva, Sheena Famous and Miss Boss.

This quarter-final matchup will see Ming Khaotik vs Shawna Necessary, Miss Boss vs Lady Diva and Nadesha Star vs Kimone Chickenback with the next match between Bashy Yanique vs Sheena Famous slated to take place on Saturday, August 17.

Gate will be open from 8 p.m. with music being provided by Goddess International, The Uncontainables and a Sun Jock from Sun City Radio. It will be hosted by Randy Rich and the Container Boss himself, with musical juggling in-between each clash to keep the entertainment at a maximum level to patrons. Ladies are free before 11 p.m. and will pay $200 after, with men paying $300 after 10 pm.

Guest judges for this week's clashes are female entertainer DI the Rebel, artist liaison and event coordinator of Sting Karla Jankee with the resident judge being Kool Face as usual. So this Saturday, if you need maximum entertainment, affordable liquor, and one of the best party atmospheres to party, Container Satdazs is the ideal party.
