A gentleman who is a senior citizen told you he knows about children. He does not know about the feverish feelings that come upon young people. When you are in the moment, very rarely you think about protection, or baby, as a result of having sex.

Most people, when they get old, forget about what happened when they were at that age. I am almost 50 but I know what is going on with these young people. Therefore, I have a good understanding of what is going on in their lives.

I understand what you are saying, and you are quite correct. That is why young people should be told of the danger of petting. When young people go to parties and drink and begin to fool around with each other, like hugging, kissing and carrying on, they often lose control. Even if they were told about the condom, they don't even remember.

Some men know exactly what to do to turn a woman on and, often, it is after the act that they remember they did not use protection. That is why young women rush to buy the morning-after pill, which is now openly sold to girls who are 15, in the US, and older without prescription. Even in Jamaica, one can get the morning-after pill easily.

Pastor
