|||||
Beenie Man - File Diamond Music Empire artiste, D'Angel, has admitted that she is actually looking forward to sharing the stage with her ex-husband, Beenie Man, at the 8th annual Six Flags Caribbean concert on August 11, in New Jersey. "Beenie Man and I still have a great relationship, we share a son, Marco Dean, who is the most important person in my life. There is no animosity or awkwardness between us, we are divorced, yes, but we are adults, and we are also colleagues in one industry," she said. At this show, she will share the stage with Beenie Man, Chris Martin, Mr Vegas and Bunji Garlin. "It is going to be an amazing Summer. I have added a few new songs to my set courtesy of Diamond Music Empire, I am going all out," she said. She is looking forward to a nine-date run in the United States this summer where she will do a couple of club shows, radio promotional performances, and of course, her appearance at the Six Flags Caribbean concert at the largest theme park in the world, Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. D'Angel is inviting dancers to audition at Club Privilege, in New Kingston, for a spot in her latest music video for the single, Hot Gal March Out. The video will be directed by Scorpio 21. tryouts
"We will be having auditions this Wednesday. The registration will be between 9 a.m. and 12 noon, and the actual tryouts begin at 1 p.m. I am just inviting the members of the public who think they have it, to show up and strut their stuff. It is going to be a demanding video because of the level of choreography involved," she said. She has a pair of other singles for Diamond Music Empire, the club-banger Hot Gal Anthem and Gimme Di Money, a nod to a popular mid-1990s dancehall song by Admiral Bailey. She has a number of other singles which are doing well such as Fresh Bed, Boom Ride for Markus Records, and All Night Long for an England-based production outfit. In June, the Hot Gal March Out deejay inked a new management and recording deal with a US-based independent record label, the Diamond Music Empire, a move that she hopes will enhance her international profile and vault her career to the next level. |
