According to the old adage 'hard work is the key to success', and indeed the statement bares truth, this as media mogul, promoter and radio personality Lady Rennae, known for her relentless pursuits in the industry, is set to take another bold step into the world of television.

Come August 9, the vivacious broadcaster will be launching her new television show in the form of an animated comedy series dubbed 'Lady Rennae Mek Wi Laugh'. The show will make its debut on Television Jamaica (TVJ) the same weekend of the Moscow World Championships in Russia.

When quizzed, the vibes queen intimated that the idea for a television show came after seeing the overwhelming success of the radio edition with then co-host Pretty Boy Floyd and Donald "Iceman" Anderson which further inspired her to launch the recently concluded live series at the Puls8 Complex on Trafalgar Road.

In a statement to the media, a seemingly jocund but tight-lipped Rennae explained, "It's going to be a massive undertaking unlike anything ever seen on local television, I don't want to give away too much at this time, but viewers across the region should brace themselves for some premium entertainment and a bellyful of laughter."

With a mantra for difference, she reiterated the point that this will be the first-ever feat of its kind attempted by any media personality in the region.

Meanwhile, Rennae is still basking in her recent achievement after being named Media Personality Of The Year at the July 18th staging of the Music Industry Achievers Awards held at the White Dragon Club, New Kingston, where she repulsed the competition to take home the coveted award.
