Bubble Butt, performed by Jamaican dancer/recording artiste Mystic Davis, is now a billboard hit.

The song, which was released earlier this year courtesy of international production crew Major Lazer, is currently number 67 on Billboard, after making its debut at number 95 a few days ago.

Bubble Butt also features American rapper Tyga and pop/reggae artiste Bruno Mars. The song currently has over eight million views on YouTube.com, received over a two-month period.

According to Mystic, she is humbled by the success of her first official song, and she expects the song will go even further up the billboard charts.

"I have been watching the progress of the song since its debut on the chart and I think it's going to go further. I realise that when I do good work it's rarely talked about, so right now I'm just observing, and I am happy that the response is positive," Mystic said.

musical projects

Mystic disclosed that the success of the song is a huge confidence booster. She therefore plans to put even more effort into musical projects and also encourages pessimists to pursue their goals at all times.

"Change is the only thing in life that is constant. So we must always try something new or else we will never know if it would work or not. So I encourage people to do what they want to do," Mystic said.

The artiste is currently unsigned to a major label. However, deals have been falling on her table.

"I have been offered a few contracts, but I am allowing my lawyer to go through them before I sign anything concrete. I am just being patient right now but people are reaching out," she said.

An age-restricted music video without the image of the performing artistes, is currently circulating the Internet and has already received close to five million views. However, Mystic says she is not sure if a new music video would be filmed, since Bubble Butt is now making commercial progress.

The entertainer recently performed at Reggae Sumfest alongside dancehall artiste Danielle D.I., and is currently working on new singles to be released during the course of this year.
