Francis powers Ken's into PCA U-17 final |

Francis powers Ken's into PCA U-17 final A robust 78-run partnership between man-of-the-match Ramone Francis (72) and Javel Glenn (44) powered Ken's Wildflower past Greater Portmore with an 82-run victory in semi-final action at the Bridgeport sports ground last Sunday and into the final of the Milo-sponsored Portmore Cricket Association U-17 Cricket League. Francis and Glenn took the score from 67-2 to 145-3 when Francis went. Ken's eventually ended up making 170-9 off 35 overs as Greater Portmore's Warren Robinson took 3-29. Greater Portmore's innings folded at 88 all out in 30.1 overs. Romain Johnson, 3-29, took the most wickets for Ken's. Ken's opponent in the final will be Hamilton Gardens, the only team to have beaten them this season. Hamilton Gardens scored an impressive four-wicket win over Bridgeview in the other semi-final played at the Hamilton Gardens grounds. Scores: Bridgeview 143 all out in 28.5 overs. Kishan Givans 74; Nickoy Roberts 4-27; Romario Wallace with an astonishing figures of three wickets for zero runs in 0.5 over. Hamilton Gardens 144-6 in 26.5 overs. Nickoy Roberts 48 not out, Joel Ewan 24, Jordan Thompson 3-25. The final is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 10. |
