Sick father meets his 'Waterloo' |

Dear Pastor
Children are needed when their parents are up in age and need help in carrying out their various chores. But, pastor, I grew up without a father after my mother passed away from cancer. I went through school and I got my nine subjects grades one and two and I moved on to the University of the West Indies where I am currently pursuing a degree in law. And it is only now that my father has showed up and he is not in good health. His other children are ignoring him and he is alone. Sad and alone, so pastor, tell these fathers that time will do its job. Unnamed Dear Unnamed, I congratulate you for doing very well in school in spite of the odds. Your mother I am sure, would have been very proud of you had she been alive. You are a very intelligent and determined young man. I wish you the very best as you pursue your law degree. I need not comment on your father. He is already experiencing his 'Waterloo'. Pastor |
