Former go-go dancer seeks help for her children

A 28 year-old woman, who has been beset by a string of incidents, is now seeking the help of the public in sending her four children to school, as well as to provide them with a roof over their heads, among other necessities.

Jackcine Wright, a resident of the Kingston 12 area, who is living with the HIV virus that causes AIDS, which she discovered she had in 2011, said she has been finding it increasingly difficult to take care of her children. She pointed out that where in which she has been living is not conducive for her young ones.

"I need help with sending the children to school, with clothing and a place to live. Where I live leak, you know, it's not a good environment," she said.

The former exotic dancer, who had previously been fired from a store in which she worked, due to her inability to read and write, expressed that she does not want to lose her children. She said that a few persons have taken care of them due to the ill-treatment they have been getting while residing with a relative.

"I have four children and sometimes a lady look after one of them and another one someone else, but I have to take one back because the lady going away. I don't want to lose any of them. The doctor says that as long as I eat right and take my medication I will live. Sometimes I try to send them to school, you know," Wright said.
