Forty-pounds of ganja was seized by the police in Round Hill, Mountain Side district, St Elizabeth, on Wednesday, THE WEEKEND STAR has learnt.

Information reaching THE WEEKEND STAR from the Black River police is that between the hours of 5:30 and 6 p.m., the police went on an operation to the aforementioned district, where a quantity of ganja was found in bushes.

The police said no one was arrested in relation to the seizure.

Investigations continue.
