Accused man pleads not guilty to larceny |

A man who is accused of stealing his partner's passport among other valuables had his bail extended in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. He is George Simms, from a Corporate Area address, who has been charged with simple larceny. Simms pleaded not guilty to the charge, and told the court that he did not take any of the items. Allegations are that on the day of the incident, the accused got into a dispute with the complainant, and later took her passport, bank book and $3,000. Simms was ordered to be fingerprinted, and he is to return to court on August 9. |
