Corporate drink giant Red Stripe is set to induce more fun and excitement into this year's staging of Reggae Sumfest as it will be hosting a Mega Sumfest Daytime party tomorrow, at Margaritaville, Montego Bay. Dubbed the Red Stripe Summaville - bikini edition, the event is set to take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will be inclusive of Red Stripe Draught Beer all day. According to Erin Mitchell, brand manager, Red Stripe, the event will definitely be a hit with consumers. "Definitely, Summaville is one of our big activities this summer. It's part of our Sumfest activation and its one of our key consumer engagements where we invite consumers to come and enjoy the ultimate day party for the Sumfest weekend," Mitchell said. In addition to all the fun and excitement, Mitchell said there will be live performances from special guest artistes. The likes of Wayne Marshall, Assassin and Aidonia have already been confirmed to perform at Red Stripe Summaville, "and we have special guest appearances from international acts, so its going to be a real epic experience because once Red Stripe is putting on a party, it's going to be the real ultimate experience." A VIP area will be upstairs Margaritaville for a limited number of guests, and will be food and drink inclusive, along with complementary mugs. General admission for the event is $1,500 and musical selections will be handled by Coppershot, DJ Crazy Neil and DJ Kentucky. Other attractions at Red Stripe's Mega Sumfest Daytime party will include promo models, water sports, beach balls, water guns and more. There will also be Rocket Man Kits to supplement draught machines. Red Stripe will also be a sponsor of Shaggy and NeYo's new music video and, as part of this partnership, will be inviting them to host tomorrow's event. |
