Specialist rocks Reggae Sumfest beach party

Downsound recording artiste Specialist has done his part to ensure Reggae Sumfest 21 gets off to a great start.

Appearing at the Sumfest beach party held on Sunday at Aquasol Theme Park, Specialst delivered an energetic performance that was well received.

During his set, he reeled off a string of hits that had the crowd going wild. Among the songs he performed were his smash breakthrough single, Street Hustle, Gallis Anthem, Street Juggle and his new summer hit, Gone A Negril.

During his act he invited his stablemate, the legendary, Ninja Man, on stage, who said a few words to the crowd. Ninja Man's appearance helped to raise the energy inside the venue, as every word he said was greeted with huge forwards from his loyal fans.

Specialist's performance on Sunday showed that he has matured tremendously and is ready to move to the next level in dancehall music.

"I feel very good about my performance at the beach party. The response was great and the people love my music. I really appreciate how the people reacted to my performance. It shows that hard work and preparation is very important, and I will continue to work hard to take my career to the next level," said Specialist.

The music video for Specialist's Gone A Negril is number 1 on CVM TV's Hit List Dancehall Chart.
