Fast-rising reggae singer TonyD Clutcheye continues on his upward climb in the music business.

The talented Spanish Town native recently delivered an impressive performance at the Atlantic City Carnival Caribbean Concert.

Hitting the stage at 11 p.m., he sang his way into the hearts of everyone inside the Howard Johnson Hotel Auditorium on Sunday night.

His set featured renditions of reggae gems such as Dennis Brown's Wolf & Leopards and Love Me Always. He also performed Alicia Keys' A Moment of Honesty. Before he closed his set, he delivered two original songs, his breakthrough hit, Everything About Jah, and My Ebony.

pleased with the response

TonyD Clutcheye said he was pleased with the response he got from the audience.

"Everything was not a hundred per cent the way I would have wanted it to be. The show was moved from its original venue, and all that. Things were a little bit frustrating. But I'm a professional artiste and I did what I was booked to do. I performed to the best of my ability and the people really appreciated it, and for that I give thanks to the most high," said the artiste.

He also added, "I see every performance as an opportunity to learn something new and improve myself as an artiste, and I am very grateful to have been a part of the Atlantic City Carnival."

The Caribbean Concert was originally slated to take place at Baders Field in Atlantic City, New Jersey, but was moved to the Howard Johnson Hotel Auditorium after the Atlantic City authorities expressed concerns about the heat wave affecting New Jersey.
