GEORGETOWN, Guyana, (CMC):

West Indies are not likely to make changes to the team which suffered a humiliating 126 run defeat to Pakistan in the first of five One Day Internationals (ODI), when the second ODI bowls off in Georgetown today.

Captain Dwayne Bravo says making changes will not revolve the problems plaguing the side and he believes players must be given a chance to find form.

West Indies folded for 98 runs in 41 overs after Pakistan recovered from 47 for five to score 224 at the National Stadium on Sunday.

"I think we believe in the team. That eleven was our best eleven. We have to back the players who did it for us over the years, and I think making changes after one game is not going to help," said Bravo.

"You have to give players the opportunity to get back that form and we know once our key players get into form, how dangerous they can be. So we have to show that support for them. We have to show that belief in the squad and changes will not solve the problem."

Today's game will be played on the same track as Sunday's, which aided both the spinners and the pacers, and one that Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq has described as one of the toughest he has ever played on.

Bravo says he is aware of the disappointment among Windies fans following their poor showing on Sunday and is hoping his players can give a better account of themselves.

"If we can level the series on Tuesday, go to St Lucia one all then we're back to square one again. All the fans are disappointed and that is expected, as once again, we let them down," said the Windies skipper.

An all-round performance from Shahid Afridi top scoring with 76 and returning to take top figures of seven for 12 erased a destructive spell from pacer Jason Holder, which had the visitors reeling at 47 for five on Sunday.
